This Kit is for the Cottage Cardigan designed by Jaq Studio.
The yarn in this kit is my Are Ewe Kidding Me base, which is super lush, and perfect for this cardigan. The base is 56% superwash merino and 44% kid mohair. This means that the yarn is super shiny and drapey, but more importantly, the mohair gives it a stunning bloom. So while the cardigan is knit in a fingering weight yarn, you still use 4mm needles because the mohair fills in the gaps - the result is a beautiful light weight cardigan that is warm but doesn’t take 10,000 years to knit!
The best part is that you don’t need much yarn at all! Sizes 1-5 only need 3 skeins, and sizes 6-9 only 4 skeins. Size 9 has a finished bust circumference of 175cm which a recommended positive ease of 15-25cm.
