Upcoming

As much as I wanted to launch Little Acorn Yarn at 2000% and get all my ideas rolling at once, it just hasn’t been possible! Here are some snippets of some of the things I have planned for the upcoming months.

Yarn club
One of the packages I will be offering from April onwards is Yarn Club. This is where I will release a theme (likely for the remainder of the year) and an inspiration picture. But this is all you will know! You will be able to select the base of your choice and quantity of skeins, but the skein you receive in the mail will be a surprise! This is a fun way for customers to be a part of something really fun and exciting and surprising, and for dyers to really let their creativity flow.

Sock Sets
Starting from April I am keen to start offering sock sets in the preorders as well. These will include one full 100g skein of 100% superwash merino and one 20g mini skein for contrasting heel, toe and ribbing. My intention is to offer these for the full collection and also as an option in Yarn Club. 

Collabs
It’s too early to say anything, but I have already began brainstorming and planning with some other wonderful makers to do some collection collaborations and I am super excited about it!

Festivals/Markets
As I am only just starting out it is not likely that I will be selected as a vendor at any upcoming markets. But if I am, this is the place to check for that information – where and when.

Christmas Advent Calendar
I would love to offer a Christmas advent calendar for 2021. This is when you receive twenty-four mini 20g skeins and one 100g full skein, individually packaged to open in the countdown to Christmas and on Christmas day. Each mini and the full skein will be a surprise colourway! Closer to the time I will gauge interest, and if there are some keen bean customers I will organise this with much enthusiasm!
