This kits is for the Årsringar Shawl designed by Jonatan Tallow.
Årsringar is the Swedish word for annual growth rings and you can see the way this inspires the shape of the shawl with each ‘ring’ of brioche growing wider.
The shawl uses 3 skeins of yarn and the way these colours play together in the construction is really wonderful. All of the colours interact with each other in different combinations which creates a beautiful fabric. The sections are knit in either garter stitch or two colour brioche so the shawl is lovely and squishy too.
These kits are dyed on Sultry Singles - a 100% pure merino yarn base with the perfect drape for shawls.
