Sock Sets come with one variegated full skein and one contrasting mini skein.

Colourways:

Out Of Mind, Out Of Sight (full skein): This colourway was inspired by a combination of two things: the soft rose pink of Cordelia’s dress for the spring dance, as she embodies everything Marcie has felt isolated from in high school. But more importantly, the sepia flashbacks to Marcie’s experiences pre-invisibility at Sunnydale High, especially when she is watching herself disappear. And of course a smattering of burnt umber and plum speckles to emphasise Marcie’s sorrow and entrapment.

The Harvest (mini skein): Inspired by the reddish, orange clay walls of the underground caves that we see throughout the episode when The Master is commanding his crew. I love the dangerous, warm glow those walls cast on all the characters, giving us a real sense of how badly the Master wants to break out of his prison.

Sleek Sock: 4ply, 100% pure merino, machine washable, full skein 400m/100g, mini skein 80m/20g.

Silky Sock: 2ply, high twist/fingering weight, 80% pure merino/20% silk, hand wash recommended, full skein 365m/100g, mini skein 73m/20g.

Please see FAQs for recommended yarn care.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing yarn, each skein will have some variation from those photographed despite the same recipe being followed each time. This uniqueness is part of the charm of hand dyed yarn. If you are knitting a project that uses more than one skein, it is recommended to alternate skeins. The photos have been taken to represent their true colours as accurately as possible. However, all phone and computer screens display colour a little differently. All yarn is washed thoroughly after dyeing, however slight bleeding may still occur, particularly for the more saturated colours.
